Simon Siegmann

French scenographer and visual artist Simon Siegmann studied graphic design at the ERG (Ecole de Recherche Graphique) in Brussels. He has previously worked with stage artists such as Pierre Droulers, Michèle Anne De Mey, David Zambrano, Thierry Smith and Thomas Hauert. In 2005 Simon Siegmann appeared at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts with Agora, at once installation, performance space and urban furniture. This year the festival asked him to turn the public spaces of the Kaaitheater into the epicentre of the festival, and his response was: Assiscouchédebout, a daring scenography / installation which gauges the effect of architecture and spatiality on human behaviour.

Simon Siegmann is inviting audiences to view his Agora , an installation and place for people to meet and talk in the city.
