Bombed Shell Falling
The character and the empty polyester overalls both represent two individuals who influence each other. The horizontal mannequin is pushing the character seated behind him; it gives a feeling of space, openness, and beauty. The head is joint, common; it is the symbol of a spiritual link tied to external coexistence. The seated position is different from the flat/floating position; verticality meets horizontality. The bodily presence meets hollow cavities. The connotation is expressed by the buzzing of the shell and the head trapped in the intelligence of the cavity. The idea is inspired by the implosion of the family structure, by its disappearing and - hence - by the collapse of this basic pillar in a society loosing its balance.
